Donuteers

A unique curriculum designed to teach students the principles of starting a business by designing a bake shop – they name their business, create a logo, marketing plan and learn business math. This program is designed to inspire creativity, confidence and critical thinking. They decorate their aprons or chef’s hats with fabric markers and stickers. In addition, they are provided with vanilla icing, food coloring, sprinkles and candies to decorate sugar cookies. Students can work in teams or individually. This program can be taught virtually. We provide the materials.

Restaurant Entrepreneurs

Students are asked to create a restaurant concept. They come up with a name, design a logo, marketing plans, think about the target audience, competition and location. A pizzeria is used to illustrate profits and loss concepts. Basic business plan concepts are addressed. This program can be taught virtually.
As in Donuteers, all participants decorate aprons or chef’s hats and sugar cookies to top off a fun, engaging and delicious program. Materials will be provided.
