Testimonials

The Young Entrepreneur Scholars program is a well thought out, creative and fun workshop for kids of all ages. The hosts, Kailey and Laura, created and provided dynamic content and supplies so each exercise which could have been hard to understand was broken down to be a fun and engaging activity to help kids understand what entrepreneurs are and how they can make all their ideas and dreams come to life. You are never too young to have good ideas! Our enCourage Kids families really enjoyed both of the workshops that the Young Entrepreneur Scholars hosted for our virtual gatherings. Thank you for giving our kids the opportunity to participate and learn through your hands-on workshops! Samantha

The Young Entrepreneur Scholars” is awesome. I was able to Zoom with the participants. Approximately 25 kids participated and they did a great job! We now have young children who want to create their own donut shop, lemonade stands and even a dog walking business. Thank you so much for this experience.”

Our youth enjoyed participating in the interactive Young Entrepreneur Scholars virtual workshops so much that they couldn’t stop asking about when they could attend the next one! The sessions inspired our children’s creativity and ideas for their futures. Kailey and Laura made the workshops fun for the kids and gave them something to look forward to! The tote bag and workshop facilitation were amazing! We can’t wait for the next YES workshop.

The kids loved the program and talked about it for days after. In fact, two particular members loved it so much they are interested in opening their own business. They are currently looking to see how to create their own brand and how they would use it to support their community”.

The kids at the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens loved the Donuteers Young Entrepreneur Program. From creating a business plan to designing (and eating!) donuts, Club members learned about how to start a business while having tons of fun. We are excited to partner with Donuteers again and have them back at the Club soon.

My program participants participated in the donuteers program during FY 20. The program created an environment that was conducive to learning about financial literacy. This was done in a way that was both entertaining and educational. As an added bonus, participants also learned about charitable donations and giving back to the community. Overall, the program created an opportunity for inner city youth to surpass learning goals and objectives currently set for their age.

The Young Entrepreneur Scholars program provided a virtual workshop for our campers which was fun, engaging, educational and appropriately challenging!
Every single one of our campers LOVED it and can’t wait to do it all again.
In fact, here is a quote from Joe, one of my campers. ‘I had so much fun designing my own bakeshop- I didn’t realize how creative I could be! I also learned a lot about what it takes to run a successful empire!'”

The Young Entrepreneur Program is remarkable! It is run by truly engaging and insightful youth leaders who account for every detail, large and small! The format and content of the workshops are nothing short of spectacular. Not only has this program inspired our youth to dream about big goals, it has also taught them to get started on making their dreams a reality! Thank you.

The Young Entrepreneur Program is a fun and educational way to spark kid’s interest in the exciting world of business and leadership. Through engaging content and thoughtful crafts, the Young Entrepreneur Program motivated kids to think critically while allowing them to explore their creative side as well. This was a productive program that the residents truly enjoyed and would love to see it expand.
